Perfect location, 2 minutes walk to the dordogne and into Bergerac town. Very quiet area so lovely and peacful for relaxing around the pool. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming, happy to suggest areas to visit, local walks along the river etc. Had breakfast on the first full day as we arrived late afternoon, very well presented and plenty of good quality products. We stayed in the cottage with our own access without going through the house. Oki the dog is lovely and friendly, loves anyone happy to throw her toys around the garden (we are dog lovers so didn't mind at all). She would be out of sight if you mention dogs aren't your thing. We hired a car, used this as a base for touring around villages within an hour as we are looking to move over there in a few years so this was a perfect location for doing this. The train station is a 15 minute walk and will take you to Bordeaux and beyond if you fancied a day trip out. Easy to get to from the airport, 10 minute drive. Note that most shops/bars are closed Sunday and Monday although a handful open so we still found somewhere to eat, food was very good quality and value for money. If we go back to that area will defintely stay again
