As first time visitors to the area we had no idea what to expect, and for us, this property was perfect. It's quite suburban, nestled in a quiet neighbourhood of St Esteves - the ideal jumping off point between the beach (about 20 mins away), and the mountains. Carol is a lovely host who welcomed us with freshly laid eggs from her chickens and was always on-hand if we had questions. We felt totally at home and were able to completely relax in the house which had all the facilities we needed including a well-kitted out kitchen, very comfortable living and eating areas (inside and out), and lots of sun lounger space next to the pool to fall asleep on in the afternoons. Thoroughly relaxing!
