The description said "one bedroom house" which is exactly what it was. A living room/kitchen, a bedroom with en suite. The whole facility was spotless and really comfortable - it even had tea/coffee/milk and a TV [with UK programmes, if you wanted them]. John met us and was very helpful - we'd definitely use John again. 11 out of 10!

Very friendly and supportive host, even in summer a cool house, beautifully decorated, a nice relaxing garden and well-situated to explore the area in the directions Dordogne and Haute-Vienne.

We had a wonderful stay. Charlie and Carolyn were exceptional hosts. They made us feel like "god" in France. When we arrived we found some drinks, bread, cheese and more to get us started and make us feel welcome. The house had everything we needed and was very cosy decorated. We had fun at the pool and could order a drink at the private bar. We loved the peaceful environment and our hosts had lots of recommendations for places to visit. We definatly recommend staying here!

We had a lovely 5 night stay as a UK family, two adults one 7 year old. The area is so peaceful and secluded. The accommodation was clean and spacious. The local shop is just up the road, and there is a bar/cafe and a pharmacy too. The WiFi worked great and the shower was nice. There is a worktop oven which cooked our fresh pizzas and warmed croissants etc. Beds were comfortable also. We will certainly stay again.

The location was very peaceful and the setting was great. The accomodation was better than expected,:unfortunately weather too cold to take a dip in the pool.
My host was extremely helpful and allowed me to have late checkout the next day.

Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
The hoist where very welcoming and where very patent with my lack of the french language. The house was set in a beautiful village the house it self was amazing as was my room very comfortable and very clean. Had dinner during my stay and all I can say it was restaurant quality as was the breakfast. Magnifique😊.
Would not hesitate to return and would recommend to anyone to stay La Vieille maison de pensol. Thank you for a lovely stay.
