Gilles and James have created a charming tasteful oasis in the tiny hamlet of Bois -Sainte -Marie. The village has a beautiful historic church, is very quiet so a car is vital to explore the rolling countryside. We had plenty of valuable advice on restaurants and places of interest, more than we could cover in our few days.
Gilles and James provided us with a supper in the garden on our first night, no simple cheese plate, but a beautifully laid out feast of salad cheeses and meats, with a warm berry crumble to follow. Their breakfasts are just as special. They are both such charming thoughtful hosts.

Hosts were great. We were late due a train connection and they were very accommodating helping source a dinner and put us in a separate suite. Very close to everything and very clean.
Very new installation, nicely decorated and very clean. Comfortable room and bathroom. Super breakfast. Attentive staff. Ideally located to visit the center and religious sites. Will certainly come back.

This apartment is conveniently located in the heart of Paray-le-Monial and within driving distance of some nice sites in Burgundy such as Solutré, Cluny and Berzé-le-Châtel. It was very clean, quiet, tastefully decorated and would be spacious enough for 6 people.
I doubt anyone can find a better place to stay when in Paray-le-Monial. Highly recommended! The apartment is in the heart of the town; it's comfortable, beautiful, and very clean and the owners are extremely helpful.
