Vacation Homes in Le Sambuc

Location was excellent, very close to Roman Arena. Apartment had plenty of character but had been modernized to a high standard. also convenient to restaurants and supermarkets. I would stay here again when visiting Arles.

We have been visiting Arles and the area every year for over ten years, since long before our children were born. This year was the first time we hired a gite, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. To start with the gite itself: this is the first year it has been rented out, having been completely renovated by the owners, Frédéric and Laetitia. Everything is clean and elegant, and the gite has everything you could need - a well-equipped kitchen; a bedroom with en suite bathroom (and an excellent shower!) for the adults; a sofa-bed in the living-room for the kids (and Netflix for those mornings when the adults need a bit of a lie-in); a second shower, and even a jacuzzi (which we had to try once, even though it was the middle of July!!); reliable wifi and air conditioning. Understandably, the kids were more excited by what was outside the gite. Directly opposite the front door, a horse and a pony were the centre of much attention (and the happy recipients of many, many carrots). And round the corner, a swimming pool and barn which Frédéric, a former boxer, is converting into a gym. Although the gite is on a departmental road, it's not at all noisy, and because it's behind an electronically operated gate, it was perfectly safe to let our children (who are 5 and 8) run around. Last but not least, Fred and Laetitia are just the most welcoming hosts - always smiling, always happy to help, wonderfully generous with the children, always ready with suggestions to make the most of our stay. It's been a month since we returned and our daughter (who loved them so much the first thing she did when we got home was to make them a present to send them) still regularly says how much she misses them. Really, we could not recommend the Gite Provençal du Mas Arnaud highly enough, especially to families with young children. Thank you, Fred and Laetitia!!

Great villa with a pool in a nice green garden. Very clean and specious place. Fast and good communication with the host. Couldn't get better than that.

beutifully renovated apartment. all the facilties (except wifi) were excellent. I would definitely recommend the apartment as good value for money, good loacation (20 min drive forom arles) and 45 min from avignon. the hosts - live on site - were gracious, accomodating and charming!
