We loved the rustic location, and the view, and the pool, and the welcome. The outdoor kitchen was for us a real plus. The gite is perfect for a couple, we will return. The owners also run a bistro in the Pierrerue, the local village, where we had an excellent and wonderfully convivial lunch.

This is a real character property, built in an old farm house, with stone walls. We enjoyed the ‘quirkiness’ of the interior and really loved having plenty of private outside space with access to a very nice swimming pool. A good size lounge complete with TV .The bedrooms are comfortable- each with its own ensuite.The house/apartment is in an excellent location in the old quarter of the town. It was quiet yet not too far away from shops and restaurants.
The location is everything! It is situated right in the center of Forcalquier, in the old town.
I had a room with a view on the courtyard it was beautiful.
