While from the exterior La Maison du Jardin might look uninviting, the interior has been completely refurbished and is a pleasure to enjoy. It is very quiet, you are not overlooked from the main house and the parking is secure, just a few metres across the garden. The bathroom has an excellent walk-in shower and it has plenty of heating.
The location is very handy. You can walk into town in 25 minutes, take a free bus or drive in just a few minutes. Almost next door is a Brasserie and a bakery.

The owner is great, very responsive and communication is very good. It was great having a lock box so we could be flexible on arrival time. Parking was easy and free, right outside.
The house was warm, despite the cold weather outside. The kitchen had good facilities and on the whole, the house is pleasantly decorated.

The house was large, bedrooms were very spacious with plenty of storage, Good facilities for cooking. Hair dryer and staightener provided. Private and good sized garden.

What stands out here is the facilities of the house - great terrace, big common kitchen and common spaces, it has everything one needs and more, and it is very well decorated. The bathroom on our floor was very clean. We didn't have direct contact with owners but everything went smoothly with the instructions. Arrived late for an overnight stay so didn't get a chance to look at the area, quite unfortunately
The flat is really nice, very clean. You can find the flat on one of the main street of Douai and to reach the main square it is like 8min by foot. There is always a parking space available in the inner yard witch is not overcrowded. The host provides with complimentary coffee capsules, laundry capsules, towels.
Just 15 minutes walk from train station..Very Clean..Comfortable sofa bed.

Phillipe is really good householder. First night there was a problem with internet but he solved it very quickly. House is near city center. Very comfortable, very clean. İnternet speed is really fast. There is parking areas near home.
