Where you'll be staying is an entire floor of a private residence that dates back to the 15th century, and many original features are still present despite some modern renovation. The entrance is off a narrow side street, which at first makes you think you might be in the wrong place, but once inside, you'll have a wonderful experience. The owner, Miguel, is extremely personable and has made this a self-contained apartment that is warmly decorated, full of personality, and very comfortable, making you feel right at home. Very central and convenient location.

Very clean, decent kitchen, very close to some cool hikes, good garage, nearby village with very cool scenery and a river running along the entire place. AC worked really well in the living room
The room was superb. Very clean spacious and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. The pool was great. The view was impressive. Breakfast was good but the buffet was a little limited because of the absence of hot and cold holding cabinets. That said the staff were very willing to provide scrambled or fried eggs on request. Dinner was good though some courses were better than others.
Friendly welcome. Quick communication in English via Booking.com messenger. Very clean. Superb rural location for hiking and visiting Granada without being in Granada. We were a bit nervous having seen so many reviews suggesting the access road was not suitable, but it was perfectly suitable for our hire car (Fiat 500), and would be fine for any car, of any size, except maybe some super low sorts car.
