The hostel Alba was a delightful surprise. We were met by Pedro who upgraded our room and told us about Lugo and told us where to eat away from the busiest area. The room was very clean and the towels huge. The location is great, being just inside the city wall. Lugo is not a tourist destination but with its 2 km roman wall it should be, and i would recommend the the hostel Alba as the place to stay.
Very kind reception girl and nice place. Comfortable and very clean room, very calm. Excellent value for money. Pretty good location also, close to the Bus Station (and train also, though I guess very few people get to Lugo by train) and to the Roman Wall. I got the extra pillow I had mentioned during the reservation and I could leave my backpack there until I went for my bus in the evening, so Many Thanks!

Very clean, great location for our purpose of travel as we had our own transport. Free parking. Staff very helpful and friendly. Coffee in a thermos provided/ included with cookies one day but not the next. Room serviced daily. Peaceful. Value for money.
The location is great: very central close to the cathedral! The dorm is very spacious with no bunk beds! Also the bathrooms are very clean and spacious! All is very new!
