We did the hot air balloon ride through him and a Nile sunset ride. Both very fair priced, even at the competitive bottom from prices online. Not exactly sure how it compares to offers on the street, but probably very good too. Plus you go with people you can actually trust without getting scammed.
Also did a valley of the kings plus some more westbank things with a driver and guide through the host.
Nice driver, guide spoke great English, had great information (we overheard some “guides” in places basically pointing out “hey this is a rock”. You get the idea.) This one was worth every dollar. Would 100% book again if we come back to Luxor.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about our stay at Luxor Rose Villa and the owner Momo. We stayed four nights and three full days. Momo organized a pick up from the airport upon arrival and gave us a tour of the property in which I got to pick a fresh papaya from the back garden. The place was clean and much larger than the pictures make it seem. The highlight was absolutely the garden in pool. Since we were traveling in summer, the temperatures were quite hot, so having the private pool was such a luxury.
Momo was also an exceptional host. He took us on a motorcycle ride through the village to the dessert to see the sunset on day and another day we went out on his feluca (sailboat) with his nephew for a mile sunset cruise. Additionally, he set us up with Mo who we used every day as our guide to the numerous sites in Luxor. Our whole experience in Luxor and at the villa was absolutely the highlight of our trip.

Everything about this place felt like home. I slept like a baby! The villa is well equipped and well maintained.
The staff was also amazing, easy to contact and always ready to help.
Breakfast with Yusuf was very special. He was so kind and always had a smile on his face. He went above and beyond to accommodate our needs.
We booked for 2 nights and ended up staying longer. I definitely would recommend this place for big families or a group of friends! The villa is spacious and can easily accommodate a large group.
I wish the pool was heated during the winter season but I can’t complain. My family still jumped in and had a blast!

We liked everything! It’s an exceptional villa freshly refurbished and stunning. The views and location are incredible from the roof top. We ordered a delicious and very generous breakfast from the hosts every morning and also had a fantastic dinner. The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly and a pleasure to talk too. I can’t recommend this Egyptian gem more highly!

Property we originally booked had some breakdown and we were rebooked into another property for same cost. Abdul was a perfect host. Very attentive and responsive to our every need. He gave us fresh guava juice which was delicious. Mahmoud brought us fresh fruit in the evening and organized the sunrise hot air balloon ride for us. Overall our stay was very comfortable!

Very large, very clean well located flat. Perfect for a family of 5. Huge bedrooms, large kitchen, large living room, end even Nile view from the balcony if you can brave the heat. (Stayed in July). Good location, walking distance to Karnak temple and easy enough to pick up a taxi from the main road for sites further away. Very helpful owner. Arranged pick up from the bus station, and absolute bargain of a hot air ballon flight (low season prices) one morning. Flat was great value for money.
We had a 2 room apartment with en-suite in each room and balcony overlooking lovely garden. Nicely furnished, very clean with comfortable beds and air conditioner worked well. Shared roof terrace great for sunsets and star gazing. Location a street from Nile and Water taxis from West Bank to East Bank. Short taxi ride to Valley of the Kings/Queens and many other temples, monuments, workers and nobles village sites.
Beautiful villa at the West Bank of Luxor, close to the private boat. The room is very cozy and comfortable, also has a well-equipment kitchen and a clean private pool. Mr.Saleh is super friendly and very helpful for the informations and travel advices. Mr.Omar is always available and very helpful as well. Highly recommended if you visit Luxor!
Lovely place to stay on the West Bank of the River Nile. Family owned business, everyone was very helpful especially Ali and Naser. Lovely, spacious rooms, very clean and lovely ambiance.
The hotel is located right in front of the Luxor temple, you can go visit it on foot. The room we stayed in was quiet and very clean . The breakfast was nice. Great view of the temple and nil from the restaurant and rooftop with swimming pool. The staff were very friendly and smiling. They allowed us to access our room earlier than expect
Amazing location, 5 minutes away from Luxor temple. Easy walk to the train station and to Luxor museum. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful with organising transport to the attractions and giving advice and tips on what to do. Good communication before arrival and during the stay. The restaurant had amazing food and a great view of the Valley of the Kings and takes card. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable.
