It’s a beautiful house - in a wonderful location - only nature around. And floor heating throughout which kept the indoors temp comfortable whether the wind blew or the sun was shining. There are lovely walks from the property and being located in the middle of Zealand you get everywhere within an hours drive or less. There is a hot tub and a sauna that can be used at extra charge. The owner is very nice and helpful. Sadly we only noticed the little sign offering eggs, jam and honey for sale from their farm.

The location was very convenient as we were visiting family for a wedding in Lejre. It was also close to the Viking Village and Roskilde where we visited the Cathedral and the Viking Ship museum. It was not far from Lejre train station where there is free parking and a train direct into Copenhagen. The Summerhouse was lovely and had everything needed, a real home from home.

The house itself and the location are nice (if you have a car). Overall the house has good facilities, nice comfy beds and a homely feeling. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a fully fenced big garden around the house. Providing privacy and a nice place for a dog.If you have firewood (very much needed to heat up the house!), the fireplace in really cosy.
