Amazing accommodation, it was very spacious and had everything we needed for a family trip. It was just a 5 minute walk from the historic town centre, and in the other direction just a few minute walk from some supermarkets. The host was very helpful and friendly.

A beautiful remote location 10 minutes from Xanten. The apartment is beautifully decorated. We'd loved the flower garden and the friendliness of the hostess Dorothee. The kitchen is well equipped, and the seating area is comfortable. The location has several apartments, but they are in different areas of the building so no problem at all: lots of privacy. The location can be reached using gravel roads. The house was very clean, the shower was good, and the beds slept very well. The bedroom windows have fly screens installed.
We liked the location, directly in the town square. There is Monday market day. There several restaurants and cafés and bakeries in and close to the square. Not far from the Roman archeological outdoor museum. Friendly people all around, safe area. Pretty churches, windmills and other places of interest. The room and other parts of the hotel were very clean. Good choices for breakfast.
It was beautiful. The host was friendly and welcoming and organised hiring bikes for us. The property was very clean and tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable and we had 4 good nights sleep! The pool was fabulous, a nice addition especially in the hot weather.
We returned here after a week as we loved it so much! The staff are helpful and attentive, the accommodation very clean and comfortable. It was especially lovely to have an English receptionist fluent in both languages! We really enjoyed the breakfast, which at 20 euros pp sounds expensive, but actually there is so much to choose from, all you can eat, and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. So definitely worth it. Even our little dog gave it the paws up (See photo)
