Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
The apartment was very clean, it was a good size and the kitchen was well equipped. The place was quiet at night and the bed was comfortable. The location was an easy walk from the train station and there are two supermarkets in close proximity. Also it is walkable to the centre of town and to the waterfront promenade. Communication with the host was excellent and check in and out was very easy.
I chose this hotel for the easy access to the train station, but also because the rooms have air-conditioning and sound-proofing. Both are very important in Kieler Wocher! Lovely big room, very clean, free coffee - perfect.
A very clean apartment, near to the Geomar centre and the sea. You can hear the sea gulls, which gives an idyllic atmosphere. Very friendly host, who offered me a lift from the central train station to the apartment. A very good price/quality ratio.
The room was very nice and comfortable, with a nice balcony, and the bathroom was nice too. The situation of the hotel was good, it was situated in a quiet and nice neighbourhood. The breakfast was very good. The room was very clean.
