Location was fantastic - easy access by car with private parking and situated most of the way up the hill overlooking the town. We weren't there to visit the Landesgartenschau (May - Oct), but it would be an ideal location from which to do so. All amenities are present and it comfortably fits five people. Freyung is a reasonably-sized town to explore and there are splendid walks all around through glorious forests. Contact with the owner is exceptional and extremely accommodating.

Excellent prompt communication from lovely hosts and beautiful clean home. We love the location and the decor. Comfortable beds, great shower and beautiful gardens to enjoy outdoor dining. Our dog was very happy here. We loved the chocolate ladybug by our bed.

It was amaizing christmas time for us in this house, perfect place for kids, parking places near the house. But what I want to note especially is the owner of the house and his kindness and desire to help in any situation, this is something very pleasant. He deserves a 100 rating stars. We stayed in number 12 at this location. This cosy, beautiful and comfortable dwelling made us feel at home, close to the heart of Freyung. Shops were 5-10 minutes away, by car. The house was well appointed and lovingly cared for by the host, who was friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the cable TV and played board games (all in German!). A nice touch was the Playmobil set, which even attracted the attention, and occupied our teen daughter. The bedrooms upstairs were well laid out, with a double bed in one room, and three single beds (and a TV!) in the other. The double bed’s mattress was super comfortable. The view from upstairs was incredible and we could see the snow falling from our beds at night, on more than one occasion. The kitchen had everything one could need, and we really appreciated the convenience of a dishwasher. A separate parking spot was allocated to our house specifically, close to the house itself. We think back with fond memories of this place, our time spent there, and will definitely return there one day.

Large, clean, comfortable, and attractive holiday home. The linens and towels were good quality, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. Parking was ample. The village was quiet and peaceful, but there was a small grocery store only a block away. Plenty of restaurants and shopping were available in Freyung <10 min drive and the Baumwipfelpfad was also only about 10 min away.
