A beautiful compact villa with a wonderful view over the lake. Comfortable beds and nice bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a nice garden. It's close enough to all the attractions of Arenal (we enjoyed hanging bridges, Zipline, kayak, hiking and watching the local fauna) as well as supermarkets, restaurants and cafés. At the same time it is in a quiet area, so we could thoroughly enjoy the stay with our family. The owner is very nice and helpful. Highly recommended!

A wonderful place! ... Really "in the sky", all around only nature, no view of houses. Very good for birdwatching, toucans come by daily and hummingbirds are everywhere. There is an observation platform. You can see the volcano and Lake Arenal from everywhere on the property and the many armchairs grouped around the house. The people from the agency are very friendly and helpful. We missed some things in the kitchen and bedside lamps, everything was done immediately. You have to know that there are three units on the property. In addition to the large house with four bedrooms (which we rented), there is a (very) small unit in a kind of garden house for 2 people and another house with 2 bedrooms.

In a beautiful garden setting, with volcano views from the Rancho, the "Red Frog offers an amazing alternative in the touristy town of La Fortuna. Locally run, the host (Yannia) gave us a warm welcome to the property and was prompt to reply to any questions. Simple yet complete with everything you could want and more.
