Very secluded, stunning gardens, can hear the waves and nature throughout the property. Modern facilities that provided luxurious comfort. The owners are very kind and bring fresh fruit from the garden to share. You feel like you’re in the nearby national park with all the nature.

Cathy is an incredible host and went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. She arranged all of our transportation in and out of Drake Bay, plus helped get us information about tours and booked us a reservation at the lovely Kalaluna Bistro on Christmas night. The location is steps from the beach and a short walk to restaurants. We used the laundry service across the street. Each morning began with the sounds of birds. Monkeys also came to visit as well as an iguana. We hiked the Drake Bay Trail for about 2 hours -- a memorable jungle hike where we saw a group of capuchin monkeys and many secluded coves. Cathy also arranged an additional taxi for my husband who wanted to do the Drake Bay Trail hike starting from the end and walking back to the town (which he said was magical). Cathy also had extra touches, like making fresh fruit batidos for us (try the guanabana), cold compresses, and replenishing our cold water supply. She truly loves sharing the experience of living in the jungle with guests. The casita is also cleaned daily and the AC in each room helped us cool down at night from the hot, humid days.

Excellent value. But no windows and it had an incredible location.
