This is an amazing and stylish new property, well located in close proximity to Parque Tayrona and the beach at Mendihuaca. It is spacious enough for a large family and has a great kiosk and bbq area. The grounds are lush and well kept as the rest of the property. We felt so welcome by the owners on arrival and the property keepers Luz and Yair looked after us very well throughout our stay and took us on a day trip to the nearby river and made the most delicious sancocho on site. Would definitively recommend a stay here in this family and dog friendly property.

Really gorgeous setting, 10 minute walk from the el zaino entrance for Park Tayrona. Room was so nice and cool when we landed and the air con was great. Very smiley, welcoming staff with good food options. Bathroom was class.

THE VIEW! It really is amazing and one can spend hours sitting on the balcony, watching birds, the jungle and appreciating the view.
The place is new and looks as on the pictueres. Theo is an excellent host: reachable at any time for any matter, he prepares nice breakfast and was helpful for any question we had and also with storing our luggage. He even brought it down to Minca for us when we returned from our mountain tour.

There is no bad words I can say about this place. We only stayed for one night due to availability but wish we could have stayed for more. Bedrooms are great and the shared space is so nice to chill and wind down. The views overlooking the jungle are beautiful.
The communication process was great and staff were only a whatsapp message away to answer any queries.
The property is located 30 mins hike up hill from the main town so if you have backpacks you will need to get a 4x4 or motorbike which is similar to most accommodation surrounding Minca.

A perfect spot to relax and connect with nature. The surroundings are so beautiful and we loved our morning runs and river swims. The restaurant serves up amazing dishes - super tasty and fresh. Salvia Madre is also the perfect base to explore Tayrona and the extraordinarily beautiful Cabo San Juan hike. The massages were fantastic in the garden. Amazing staff (thank you Cindy!)
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
Modern, beautiful facilities with a great garden and an amazing pool area. The room was very clean, the restaurant offered a great variety of dishes and the stuff was very attentive and polite.
Perfectly located right at the Calabazo entrance for the Tayrona parc. The ticket office is not even 50m away, allowing a very early entry in the parc!
Very clean room, good breakfast in a lovely patio. The hosts were very welcoming and happy to wait for us arriving at 11pm.
Our stay at portales de Tayrona was exceptional - very clean, comfortable, beautiful, an entrance to the park literally beside the hotel, exceptionally friendly and welcoming staff, not to mention a beautiful place surrounded by nature with spectacular views. Highly recommend!!
Most beautiful remote spot in Tayrona park. We slept one night in the hammocks and one night in the cabins. They were building the showers in the other cabins as well, they were very clean and pretty, which was very convenient.
The location, of course, what a beautiful beach ! Private to the hotel so really quiet. We can’t really swim though.
Only 3 hours walk through the jungle to get there.

Felt like you were deep in the jungle even though you’re not too far from main road. Good sized rooms that were very clean with all the basic requirements for a comfortable stay. consistent WiFi and hot water. Great location near the Calabazo entrance - 5 min walk.
Beautiful place to rest and have some quiet. The cabana was confortable and the bathroom very clean.
Good restaurant et services.
The hike to come from Calabazo is nice as well.
