The location is ideal, close to Bellinzona but quietly situated at the back of a pretty village at the foot of the mountains. You hear a river flow and see the vineyards and the locals bringing in grapes. The typical "rustico" building has been exquisitely renovated with modern amenities while keeping its original architecture. I rent my chalet in the alps, which I have also renovated, and I know what it takes to make people feel welcome. Also, I have stayed in many places over the last 40 years; this one is without any doubt at the top of my charts! Communication with the hosts is seamless and friendly. I cannot wait to go there again!

Great apartment in a very peaceful location. Fabulous views and close to hiking trails. I would recommend the Monte Bar hike and highly recommend stopping at the Capanna Monte Bar restaurant on the way up. We enjoyed rolling out our yoga mats on the balcony. Valle Verzasca is also highly recommended for a hike along the most stunning river - best to go early though as parking spaces are limited.
