The apartment was everything we wanted in our 4 night stay for hiking in the area. The kitchen was completely stocked with pots and pans, coffee (from a pod machine) was available for a small price, the living room and decor were very cozy, and the view from the apartment was great.
The host was also incredibly friendly and a pleasure to talk with.
We definitely recommend staying in this apartment.

The location is stunning, it’s beautiful overlooking the ski slopes. The chalet is up a a steep slope so seniors may need to drive up to be dropped off. The apartment is beautifully finished and all the utilities and equipment are absolutely top quality . Very comfortable beds, nice linen and towels . So happy

Beautifully renovated, very clean, and location is amazing! The common use of the large kitchen, living room and patio was great, we shared with a large family who occupied multiple rooms, and everyone was friendly and respectful. Very cute but small hotel in the heart of Appenzell. Very well taken care of, renovated and very clean. Small rooms but practical and comfortable. Excellent breakfast with very high quality of products and great presentation. Really a gem, sparkling clean and beautiful all over.
We loved staying in this hotel! The hotel was close to the train station and in the center part of town. The rooms were very nice and very clean, and the staff was awesome as they were more than willing and even went out of their way to answer our questions and help us in any way they could. The breakfast was delicious with lots of great options to choose from.
