The house is beautiful and modernly decorated with great facilities in the kitchen especially which has lots of room to entertain and dine.
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
The resort is an older style motel/hotel that has been beautifully maintained. We loved the exceptionally friendly and helpful front staff as well as the proximity to both Huntsville and the west gate of Algonquin Park. Our room was spacious and very clean. And while we didn't have the best weather for swimming, we did enjoy the lovely gardens.
I have been coming here for years. The rooms are basic, but always very clean. The lake offers a sandy beach that is great for all ages.
Value for money is great
We really liked the waterfront area and docks. The SUPs, kayaks and PFDs were in really nice condition. Well done!
The games room was also well equipped and very clean.
To be really honest, I had low expectations, but when I went there it was completely the opposite, very nice lake, they had Kayaks, boats, BBQ places, campfire, we have done all that, it was really amaaaaazing, the staff were very friendly, room very clean, we (with our friends) booked 6 rooms, and we all enjoyed the stay and we felt sad to leave. I highly recommend it and I will go again, hopefully sooooon.
My mom and I had a great time. The room was very clean, great location, and the owners are very friendly. Overall, we had a great time. Patrick recommended a few places to visit and even gave us a free pass to a Algonquin park as a courtesy. They have kayaks and canoes available for all the guests and the lake is a pretty decent size. My mom and I had a blast canoeing in the lake. I will definitely come back! Lovely place :)
