Everything was perfect!
The location is great - we had a view of the old town, the amphitheater and the Plovdivska Mitropolia (it was magical to listen to it's bells ringing). What's more it was "hidden" under the shade of large trees and the path to the entrance makes you feel cozy and at home.
The house itself was so beautiful - typical old fashioned Bulgarian house with incorporated modern details. It's story of being owed by the famous Bulgarian painter made it even more special and romantic. It was filled with art in many ways. We also had a wide collection of books to read (and the wooden rocking chair was perfect for doing so!)
We had a small but very useful kitchen with washing machine. I won't forget to mention the AC, which saved us in the hot weather.
The bathroom was very convenient and stylish and the towels provided to us smelled SO GOOD. Everything was so clean and tidy, we really loved that!
The overall vibe of the place together with the warm welcoming of the host made us feel so special and festive.
We loved this place so much and the next time we visit Plovdiv we are definitely staying here again!
It deserves the rating that I gave and it's all so worth it!

The hotel is beautiful inside and out, very clean, it has a lot of very valuable amenities like - you can choose another pillow in case the one you have is not to your liking, you can ask for a charger in case you’ve forgotten yours. They had also prepared a cot with a little toy for our kid and had given us a children’s cosmetic kit which was very nice. The breakfast was also delicious and there was a lot to choose from :)
It had practically everything. Fully equipped kitchen. Large bathroom. Good beds, tables, chairs, enough hangers. Very clean. The place is close to the center and the bus station. There is Billa, a park nearby and it is quite convenient for the Rowing base. The host was very nice and there is a great quiet patio that stays cool in the heat.
