The owner was very friendly and accomodating. We were allowed to leave the key in the key box for checkout as we had to leave very very early to get back home in time. He speaks fluent English, which helps a lot because my french is non existent. I felt safe and wish I could stay longer. If I need to sleep over in the area, I'd consider L'Escale again.

The property exceeded our expectations , it was a high standard, very well equipped, clean and a lot of thought had gone in to what was provided. It is in a peaceful location, with the bonus of the two donkeys outside. Guy was really friendly, helpful and welcoming. We would definitely stay there again and explore more of Belgium, this trip we visited Prairi Danzi which was close by. Definitely recommend, thank you Guy.
