So many good things. 1) The place is sweet, homey, clean, cozy (burning woodfire when we arrived in the cold afternoon)--a historic old building with modern updates/renovation. Lots of room. Two floors. 2) All the best values of this unique place, Geel, are embodied in the beautiful host Sophie. Our meeting conversation with her was one of the highlights of a month of travels for me, maybe the best moment of the trip. Very kind hosting--hospitality in the most real and deep sense. Plus: Sophie's husband Paul is a legendary cyclist (hence the name, Velo --94 is the year he won the Cyclo-Cross World Championship)--so cyclists, check it out!

Great for families or large parties, vacation homes are privately owned accommodations, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities, though breakfast might be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different than apartments.

You have all the facilities like your own home. Very clean and everything new.
A lot of games for children, also bikes including tandem bicycle which was extremely useful.

Hotel is located in the middle of nature, big parking spot in the front. Hotel is old, some things in the room they need to be replaced. I like comfy beds and room size - bigger than expected. Room and bathroom was very clean. Extremely friendly staff and good value for the money. Perfect for one night stay, when you are traveling around the region.
