Beautiful little cottage/house, we stayed 4 days. Had wonderful patio/back yard. Beds were so comfy and the kitchen was completely stocked w everything we needed to cook meals. It was a hot time while we were there and the owner provided a fan, which was a lifesaver! It's within a 15 minute walk to all of the grocery stores or restaurants so that was super cool- sidewalks everywhere. We drove to various towns around for activities but LOVED how quiet and safe Hoeilaart was to stay. Brussels was only a 30 minute drive or so. There's horse back riding right in Hoeilaart at Lord Newcastle stable which was perfect for my 13 year old daughter. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.
