The house was immaculate. Very recent restoration done to a high standard. The location was great for our road trip. There are two double bedrooms and 4 single beds in the roof room. 2 bathrooms, a big well equipped kitchen with large dining table and a nice lounge area for when it gets a bit cold outside. Loads of parking and two superb restaurants which due to a concert, were unfortunately fully booked. But the terrace kindly did us a limited choice and boxed it up to take back to the house. The waiter couldn’t have helped us more.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Happy we were in good health to walk upstairs with 3 flights before coming to the room itself. But I would definitely recommend it. It's more unique then the pictures show. Loved the fact that my walking apps showed we could just leave the building and start our walks. You don't need to get back into the car till the end of your stay if you bring supermarket food for breakfast. Lunch and Dinner can be taken in the restaurants on site.

The house is just fantastic! Very tasteful and good quality design, beautiful old sculptures and artwork, it is beautiful and very well equipped (especially the kitchen! nothing is missing). The rooms are comfortable. Also in the summer heat the house is pleasantly cool. We enjoyed the terrace. It is located on historic abbaye grounds, so the surroundings are exceptional. We really enjoyed the restaurant, kids loved the farm animals and the gardens and the overall feel of the place is jūst superb.

As we were travelling with our dog the garden was enclosed and we could sit in the garden (although the weather was awful) have a drink and be sure that Poppy was safe mooching about. Facilities were good, clean and tidy. would stay again if the in area. A short drive into Namur.
