Title: Unacceptable Stay - Mouse sighted in toilet and Unbearable Odor

"We booked this house for a night, but unfortunately, our stay was cut short due to a mouse which we noticed in the toilet but what put us off was a putrid smell from a dead mouse. The condition of the rest of the house was reasonably clean, except for the kitchen floor which was dusty. We were told that there was parking on site - but did not know that we had to park our loaded trailer and car in the driveway and assumed the garage doors meant we would have secured parking - this was a bit misleading. Despite our efforts to address this with the owner, she refused to acknowledge the issue and take responsibility.
Our main concern was the smell of a decaying mouse and this was overwhelming as we could not bring ourselves to eat there. We had to find alternative accommodation at the last minute, which added to our stress and expenses.
I would not recommend this property to anyone until the owner addresses these issues and takes necessary steps to ensure a clean and comfortable stay for guests.

The location is amazing. It’s very easy to find and it’s near beautiful places.
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.

Everything was just perfect. From Jenny's kindness to the level of spotlessness of the place. I will definitively come back soon. With my husband we went by train and brought our bikes with us. Jenny had a place to keep our bikes safe and dry. The place is beautiful and very clean. There are board games you can use. Breakfast was varied.
Such an incredible accommodation!! The pictures don't do it justice :) Such a beautiful and peaceful place with very friendly staff. I only stayed for the night but def wish I stayed longer :) The garden and nature around are just incredible. The room was very clean and spacious. The little breakfast buffet had everything I needed. Such a wonderful experience overall. Would love to come back!
I cannot fault the house at all. The room is very clean and comfy. The bathroom is spacious and towels are provided. Breakfast is a good selection and there is plenty of space to cook your food. If it was based solely on the room, it would have got a 9.
