The house was absolutely beautiful and extremely well stocked with everything we could wish - including a pantry stocked with staples for cooking. There was plenty of crockery, cutlery, glasses and servingware to cover the largest family or group.
Daylesford is about a 7 min drive, and the small township of Hepburn Springs was just up the road, so very easy to get supplies and enjoy the local area.
The goodie bag provided for us was a welcome surprise and a very nice touch.
It was a wonderful stay overall, and my family loved the whole stay.

The property was easy to find and upon arrival we were granted with a beautiful atmosphere. Internally we loved the design and decor. Outside particularly in the morning was peaceful.

Alexander cottage is so cute and cozy and beautifully decorated with all you could need, it’s so warm we didn’t feel the cold at all! The heating is glorious! Plus the heated towel racks in the bathroom were nice! Check in and out was super easy and the beds were like hotel beds with great linen. People have said in reviews the floors are creaky? I didn’t notice that at all!
