House was fantastic with multiple day beds on an extremely large verandah.
Views were awesome and can see the beach (although cloudy when we were there).
Very secluded and no mobile reception (Belong) to get completely off grid.

Location is excellent. Easy drive to all the points of interest in the Daintree NP area.
You will sleep in front of the jungle as if you were in the middle of it. Wonderful.

We were looking for a comfortable place to stay with easy access to the Daintree rain forest. The Cottage at Daintree Cascades was VERY comfortable and in the heart of the rain forest. With a large creek, swimming holes, waterfall and lush vegetation right at your doorstep, you feel like you are experiencing the best of the rainforest without even leaving the property. The cottage is a simple yet beautifully constructed and well appointed dwelling with a luxurious bed, stylish furnishings, great ventilation, excellent climate control (ceiling fans in every room) and a fantastic little kitchen. The hosts were easily accessible and very accommodating. Could not recommend highly enough.

the view is amazing . the house had plenty of space and a great deck.
Loved the unique design and creation story behind this absolute gem of a place. Privacy amongst the beautiful Daintree rainforest, birdlife, location within the Daintree, and gorgeous private pool. Also multiple beautiful places to sit and take in the views and changing light. Highly recommended if you have a 4WD to cope with the steep driveway.
