Liked the big modern bathroom, excellent breakfast selection and large very comfortable bed. The heritage cottage had a lot of character and the bathroom extension was well done.

The breakfast supplies were excellent. We enjoyed using the bbq and sitting outside. Most of what Penola has to offer is within a 15-20 minute walk.
Great for families or large parties, vacation homes are privately owned accommodations, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities, though breakfast might be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different than apartments.
Excellent location. Very quiet surroundings. The cottage has everything you need and is very clean and tidy. The bed was also very comfortable. the cottage is on the Coonawarra walking tour of the local wineries which was a great way to do tastings. The host was extremely helpful.
Everything! Situated in a large beautiful and peaceful garden, very clean, well equipped kitchen, very comfy beds and chairs, lovely hosts and fresh eggs, homemade bread and condiments for breakfast.
