The kitchen was fully equipped, allowing us to prepare our meals with ease, and the outdoor space was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the fresh air. We especially loved the cozy living area, which was ideal for gathering and spending quality time together.

A lovely house, roomy, comfortable and clean. Everything you could want is provided. They even provide matches/firelighters/wood for the heater - despite cold days the house was sufficiently snug so that we didn't use this. A god clue would be to stock up with milk, bread etc at the excellent IGA at Penneshaw when you first get off the ferry.

Fantastic location, very clean. Close enough to do shopping. Secluded enough to have quiet time. Easy walk to the beach. The beautiful beach is great for families.
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.

The room is very clean and the view is mind-blowing, as shown in the picture. There’s even a heat light that keeps you warm after showering and heating rack for towels in the bathroom and many other appliances which is so sweat. Besides the room, they decorated the dining area so well that I had a good time eating there with the view of the ocean. Also, the hosts are so nice.❤️ This accommodation is definitely worth visiting when you come to Kangaroo Island!
A great, clean property which is well located with good value for money. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, cling wrap, tin foil were all provided. Shower was hot, beds were comfy. Lovely property - very clean, tidy and tranquil, would recommend and stay again.
Our stay at the River suites was very comfortable. The hosts were super friendly. A beautiful young couple. The place is a little old, but very clean and comfortable. The owners are planning to renovate the place this year. I wish them all the best!
What a great stay we had at the River Suites! Nicolas and Dhea are the most welcoming hosts. Although the rooms are a bit outdated, they’re very clean and great value for money, and they’re to be upgraded soon.
And not to mention Nicolas’ cooking skills were superb! His 7-course diner (only Thursday - Saturday) is unreal and very reasonably priced for the quality.
Would definitely recommend and come back here!
The location in American River was lovely and peaceful. Views from breakfast were gorgeous and the breakfast was delicious with fresh homemade bread and provisions. Very clean and friendly owners.
