We (3 adults, 50+) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Haus am Hochwechsel. Everything was perfect: the clear instructions, the welcome kit, the beauty of the very comfortable house with all the modern amenities and the incredible view (no television can come close to that!), not to mention the quiet! Despite the gloomy weather, we took advantage of everything the house had to offer and enjoyed every minute of it! The short walks in the vicinity gave us the chance to discover a charming region.
I should also mention that the proximity of the village of Waldbach makes it easy to pick up supplies of food, wine and local products.

Very comfortable and functional house. Biger than we expected. Kitchen well equiped with all staff, herbs, spice and primary ingradients. Owner is very kind and helpfull. I recommend this place for all active and resting accomodation.

The house is meticulously clean, large and comfortable, with all the equipment one may imagine.

Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
Claudia is a fantastic host. She was very accommodating, helpful and friendly. We also enjoyed her very comfortable and stylish apartment and amazing breakfast. Everything was just as pictured, very clean, and very private. We felt right at home in this space and were grateful for a cozy apartment that was away from the big hotels.
If you are near this guesthouse, you must stay at this beautiful place. I highly recommend!
Very clean inside the rooms - old renovated building. Hof very shabby from the outside. Staff very helpful! For the simple facilities (also used for students) I could have happily paid a bit less....but perhaps it is simply an expensive area? Bathroom lovely and new.
Absolutely loved the area, the apartment is let down by the conservatory- it is very dated. The house is renovated and over 100 years old, so lots of charm but the accompanying small areas/rooms are as you would expect in an old house. It is very clean, so no real complaint, couple of small maintenance issues expected of an old home. The garden is quite overgrown but still charming. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need, including a glass cabinet - old fashioned but fun. Lovely stay.
