The location is perfect if you prefer silence and relaxation. The place, located at approximately 1750 m, is not completely isolated because in any case there are breeders and farmers nearby who carry out their daily activities (at least in August). In the surrounding valley there are several paths to follow on foot or by bicycle without having to travel far by car. The house is completely made of wood, cool during the day and comfortable in the evening, it is equipped with a lot of things, there is no gas but you can cook with the wood stove, there are also electric kettles for water and coffee and a microwave oven; the bathroom and toilet are accessed from the rear balcony. The water from the tap, or from the fountain in front, is delicious! In essence, the house is really welcoming, clean and "to live in" but at the same time a little bit "spartan" so I wouldn't feel like recommending it to those who prefer luxury destinations with all the types of facilities that a hotel can offer. There is no wifi but the mobile internet signal reception is good Elisabeth, the host, was very kind and helpful. In closing: if we have the chance to go back we definitely would!

I have to say that probably I liked everything. There is no wifi, no mobile signal and no TV, just radio and it is more than enough. We had one of the most amazing holidays. Mrs. Steidl is incredibly nice and kind lady and goes the extra mile to make the visitors feel like home. So you know what to expect: There is a coffee machine (filters and filter coffee needed but there was some extra as well). There is a water boiler, a fridge, a wood burning stove. The towels, bed linen, toilet paper are all there. The toilet is outside, yes, the latrine type. All rooms have a basin and running warm water, you can wash yourself properly even without a bathroom. If it is extra cold you can use the warm bottles and extra blankets. There are hiking paths just around the hut. We have enjoyed the holidays so much that we are absolutely coming back next year. Thank you once more for your amazing hospitality, we loved every single moment.
