We recently had the pleasure of staying at Houghton Haus, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish!
The house itself was everything we could have hoped for—spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The setting was simply amazing, nestled in the heart of stunning nature, making it the perfect getaway for anyone looking to relax and unwind.
One of the highlights for us was how dog-friendly the property was. Our furry friend was as welcome as we were, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The thoughtful welcome package was such a nice touch, adding to the warm and inviting atmosphere.
Another point worth mentioning is that the house is fully accessible. While we didn't need the accessibility features ourselves, it's comforting to know that the property is equipped to accommodate everyone.
Lastly, we can't say enough about the owner, who was incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay. They made sure we had everything we needed and were always available for any questions or requests.
Overall, we had an unforgettable stay and would highly recommend Houghton Haus to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in nature with top-notch hospitality. We can't wait to return!
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
The house is just wonderful, like in a fairytale :) It is equipped with everything you might need for a perfect holiday in the mountain. There’s a beautiful, big yard where kids can play freely. In the morning there are plenty of birds and squirrels that come to the feeders and you can enjoy watching them. The host, Ms. Elfriede, is fantastic and her home made cakes were a real treat. The house was very clean and the beds exceptionally comfortable. We’d love to come back to Flattach and Haus Hasslacher!
Very friendly staff and very clean, comfortable appartament. Liked it very very much ! Even has a seperate heated small building for your skis and skiing boots !
The place is very clean and quiet. The apartment is well equiped with all necesarry staff. There is also a coffe mashine which was a pleasent suprise😊 The host is very kind and helpfull. 100% recommended.
Beautiful place. It was the cleanest place I've ever stayed. Kitchen, toilet, room - everything was very clean every day. I was with a cat and there were no problems with that either. The nature around is incredible. I will recommend this place to all my friends
Very conveniently located for Alpe Adria Trail hikers. The owner is very nice, it feels like you are visiting family. We stayed in a garden house, very comfortable, very clean and private. The breakfast was outstanding. We truly enjoyed our stay.
Very nice holiday house. It is a little bit remote from the village but in less then 10 minutes walk you reach the closest supermarket in the village. The advantage is the quite area. We stayed in the appartment on ground floor with our family (4 adults and 1 teenager). Everything is well equiped, only dishwasher is not available. Very comfortable beds, hand sope in bathrooms and toilet, clean towels, very clean holiday house, spaceous garden.
All together a very nice location to stay.
