We normally prefer to stay away from people but this time we opted to stay right in the centre of the village and didn't regret it at all! It was quiet, yet super convenient: cheap outdoor swimming pool right across the street, huge free of charge amazingly beautiful kids' playground too, tennis and golf course, great pizza place. Billa and cableway 500m from the place. Plus it was super well equipped, we found EVERYTHING in the kitchen, big pots, pans, even robot for pancakes and small plastic boxes for snacks. There were also towels, board games for big and small players, the terrace was nice too.

We have enjoyed our stay at Chalet Franzi in Dorf Gastein a lot. The accommodation is very stylish and nice, eveything was clean and worked properly. The owner (or provider) is a very nice person. if you want to have a great vacation, Chalet Franzi might be a great place !
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
Very clean and a quite modern room with comfy beds. For a few euro's you can park your card in their private parking spot beneath the building.
Would recommend if you are traveling to Croatia / North Italy as a stop.
It’s very clean and decent. The host is very nice and friendly. Definitely recommend this apartment. The environment is enjoyable and relaxing as it’s on the slope of mountain, the view is great.

Location is literally 3 minutes walk from train station and 3 min walk to bus station where ski bus starts. The hotel is new, all facilities are also new. The room was very clean. Great sauna on the 7th floor - it costs few extra euro and it was almost empty, we were the only guests on most of the days.
