Boasting an outdoor swimming pool and views of mountain, 2 PALMAS STR is a recently renovated guest house situated in Aguadilla, 45 km from Rio Camuy Cave Park. The property has pool and garden views.... I loved everything!!!! Victor my host was accommodating in every way. I arrived around 9 pm and messaged him I was here to check in. He arrived minutes afterwards. I saw him often and he always asked if I needed anything, offering up suggestions, towels, TP, anything! He offered up ideas and locations for me to see and do during my stay. He makes this beautifully landscaped and architected building a delightful stay in a peaceful and quiet area, which was a needed must for me. I added additional days to stay and made this my home base. Groceries, shopping and town are a very short and convenient drive away. I've sent pictures of the grounds and my room to all my friends and family. They loved it too! Pillows were perfect!! The room was well appointed with everything I needed and more. Book this place!!! I hear an ice cream truck driving by now too!

El Conde De Atrini offers accommodation set 4.3 km from the centre of Santo Domingo and features a garden and a bar. The property features sea and lake views, and is 300 metres from Montesinos. Best hostel in town. The hosts David and Elemis was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and fresh still water is provided. What’s more, they have an excellent terrace that you can enjoy jacuzzi there. Highly recommended!

Set in Saint Martin and only 1 km from Orient Bay Beach, La Villa Hibiscus, Saint Martin offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The ambiance was to die for The hotel director, Florian, is top notch

Offering quiet street views, casa maria is an accommodation set in La Romana, 8.1 km from Teeth of the Dog and 12 km from Dye Fore. Honestly everything was great. Maria is so sweet and she runs the place herself. She makes breakfast every morning and makes getting around for the day easy, just ask and she'll call up a motocoach or car. It's on the upper floor of her house (separate entrance up the stairs) and there's three rooms that are a great size with modern bathrooms, fans and A/C. The shared area is spacious and gorgeous, with a full kitchen, dining table and a nook with comfy chairs by the windows. It's in a residential area with a colmado on the corner if you need a quick snack or drink. All in all I think this was my favorite place I stayed at while in DR, and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in La Romana :). (Pics were taken after checkout but the linen and sheets were great as well!)

Complete with a shared lounge, Akunamatata Guest House Grand Case is situated in Grand Case, 200 metres from Grand Case Beach and 2.9 km from Anse Marcel Beach. It was clean, nice and quiet. The kitchen and outdoor space was very comfortable and it felt like home.

Located in Las Terrenas, a few steps from Punta Popy Beach, guest house MY WAY provides accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Great spacious room with fast internet, great shower with hot water, coffee maker and fridge. The balcony was nice as well and the guest house is close to restaurants and bars. The beach is just across the street. This place is a true gem.

Located in La Parguera, within 16 km of Porta Coeli Religious Art Museum and 28 km of Guanica Dry Forest, Casa Bonita Inn provides accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi throughout the property as... Lily was amazing! The house is so comfortable you dont want to leave. She received us with a warm welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. Place was super clean and had everything you need. The view is espectacular! I will come back and stay here again.

Located in Irish Town, Prince Valley Guesthouse features accommodation with seating area. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Bobby is the kindest person we've ever met. The fresh brewed blue mountain coffee and the tea made with herbs he took from his garden were like a cherry on a top of cake given to our breakfast. Even the hardest part of the road was ok with Bobbies help 👌We get his direction and with our rented car of bad quality (no clearance, no 4x4, brakes so so) with 3 big duffel bags (21 kg each) we reached the guesthouse (going back Bobby helped us with bags - took them to his car to get our car a little higher and we followed him to avoid biggest potholes on the steep road up). The road B1 is a normal mountain paved road reachable for each car. But the second part, which is only 2.5 km, was really stressful: is paved but very steep and full of gaps, potholes and sharp turns. Going down is ok, because you don't know what to expect:) Going back with a car without high clearance is a challenge but reachable. The place was completely hidden with great views and much cooler than the city. Our room was clean and normal, nothing more you should expect in mountain hut. People in the neighborhood were also very polite (it is always so in mountain). There is also a small waterfall in 10 minutes walk where you can refresh in cold water. Bobby and Deana help to organize tours and hikes with local guides. We took Shugarloaf hike with a very nice couple - picnic under waterfall and many talks about surroundings.
