Victor my host was accommodating in every way. I arrived around 9 pm and messaged him I was here to check in. He arrived minutes afterwards. I saw him often and he always asked if I needed anything, offering up suggestions, towels, TP, anything! He offered up ideas and locations for me to see and do during my stay. He makes this beautifully landscaped and architected building a delightful stay in a peaceful and quiet area, which was a needed must for me. I added additional days to stay and made this my home base. Groceries, shopping and town are a very short and convenient drive away. I've sent pictures of the grounds and my room to all my friends and family. They loved it too! Pillows were perfect!! The room was well appointed with everything I needed and more. Book this place!!! I hear an ice cream truck driving by now too!

El Conde De Atrini heeft een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, een terras en een bar in Santo Domingo. Best hostel in town. The hosts David and Elemis was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and fresh still water is provided. What’s more, they have an excellent terrace that you can enjoy jacuzzi there. Highly recommended!

Casa maria is gelegen in La Romana, op 8,1 km van Teeth of the Dog, en biedt accommodatie met een gedeelde lounge, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een bar. Honestly everything was great. Maria is so sweet and she runs the place herself. She makes breakfast every morning and makes getting around for the day easy, just ask and she'll call up a motocoach or car. It's on the upper floor of her house (separate entrance up the stairs) and there's three rooms that are a great size with modern bathrooms, fans and A/C. The shared area is spacious and gorgeous, with a full kitchen, dining table and a nook with comfy chairs by the windows. It's in a residential area with a colmado on the corner if you need a quick snack or drink. All in all I think this was my favorite place I stayed at while in DR, and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in La Romana :). (Pics were taken after checkout but the linen and sheets were great as well!)

Casa Bonita Inn ligt in La Parguera, op 16 km van Porta Coeli Religious Art Museum en 28 km van Guanica Dry Forest, en biedt accommodatie met een terras, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en gratis... Lily was amazing! The house is so comfortable you dont want to leave. She received us with a warm welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. Place was super clean and had everything you need. The view is espectacular! I will come back and stay here again.

Prince Valley Guesthouse heeft een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, een terras en een restaurant in Irish Town. De accommodatie biedt een 24-uursreceptie, luchthaventransfers, roomservice en gratis WiFi. Bobby is the kindest person we've ever met. The fresh brewed blue mountain coffee and the tea made with herbs he took from his garden were like a cherry on a top of cake given to our breakfast. Even the hardest part of the road was ok with Bobbies help 👌We get his direction and with our rented car of bad quality (no clearance, no 4x4, brakes so so) with 3 big duffel bags (21 kg each) we reached the guesthouse (going back Bobby helped us with bags - took them to his car to get our car a little higher and we followed him to avoid biggest potholes on the steep road up). The road B1 is a normal mountain paved road reachable for each car. But the second part, which is only 2.5 km, was really stressful: is paved but very steep and full of gaps, potholes and sharp turns. Going down is ok, because you don't know what to expect:) Going back with a car without high clearance is a challenge but reachable. The place was completely hidden with great views and much cooler than the city. Our room was clean and normal, nothing more you should expect in mountain hut. People in the neighborhood were also very polite (it is always so in mountain). There is also a small waterfall in 10 minutes walk where you can refresh in cold water. Bobby and Deana help to organize tours and hikes with local guides. We took Shugarloaf hike with a very nice couple - picnic under waterfall and many talks about surroundings.
