We had a great stay at the Posada La Serena - it was like staying in a home with amazing hosts. Pretty property with lots of areas set up to sit and relax. Room was comfortable and sharing bathrooms was never an issue. Giovanna and Alejandro are such positive, energetic people - it was a pleasure to spend time with them. And Lolo, their pet sheep. They serve very good food too. It is close to a highway, but the road is not very busy in the day and quiet at night.

The family was kind to me and my family and treated us as their own. We left appreciating Ursula, Diego, Maria and April and we cannot wait to return. This location is full of peace, love and a caring environment plus some of the best home cooked food I have ever had in the 80 countries I have visited.

My dinner was quite nice. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The pool was wonderful to swim in. This was a very pleasant place to stay. I will happily return for another stay.
