Simply one of the best places worldwide we ever visited. There was fresh fruit and avocado in the fridge everyday and you are welcome to stroll around on the premises and pick any of the seasonal fruits. We ate lychee e.g. directly from the tree. It's a must if you visit big island and like to be in the less crwoded countryside.

Offering quiet street views, Plumeria Cottage is an accommodation situated in Kailua-Kona, 2.6 km from White Sands Beach Park and 11 km from Kaloko-Honokohau National Historic Park. This is a fantastic property to base yourself from and explore Kailua/kona and surrounding areas. The hosts have very thoughtfully kitted out and prepared the accommodation. The bed is very comfortable, the shower is spacious, the kitchen area pretty well kitted out, and has a comfortable lounge area. If you’re looking to prepare lots of your own meals, know that this property doesn’t have an oven and only a single ring hob, toaster plus microwave. Also if you’re looking for panoramic views from a balcony or similar, this cottage is tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood just a short hop from Ali’i drive and you’d have to pay substantially more for those kind of views. The hosts were super responsive to mail questions and all in all I’d highly recommend this cottage.

Situated in Kailua-Kona, 700 metres from White Sands Beach Park and 1.2 km from Kahaluu Beach Park, Sunset Shores - UNIT B Kaiupoho features spacious air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and... I loved that place, quiet, sooo clean and a lot of space, it was like a 5 stars hotel room !!!!

Featuring garden views, Tranquility Guest House provides accommodation with patio, around 10 km from Kaloko-Honokohau National Historic Park. Well situated at a great elevation. The place was easy to find and good directions given beforehand. The room was absolutely wonderful with nice breezes, a lovely bathroom and a small kitchenette stocked with welcome treats. Love the espresso coffee maker too! I was greeted on arrival and made to feel very welcome. Some fruit (apple bananas and papaya) was given to me as well which was just delightful. Overall a fantastic stay - mahalo!! 😊

Located in Honokaa and only 46 km from Hapuna Golf Course, Private Ohana on the lush Hamakua coast with AC provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Everything was great. Well maintained, clean and an excellent location to explore the north side of the island from. The hosts are friendly and have things nicely arranged and extra items for use such as folding chairs for outdoors, a beach umbrella and a small cooler. If we come back to the big island any time in the future we’d definitely stay here again.

Boasting garden views, Phoenix Garden offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 2.5 km from Kehena Black Sand Beach. We had a wonderful stay here. Very well equipped and nicely decorated apartment for up to four persons.

Situated in Papa Bay Estates in the Hawaii Island region, Serenity Hale features a patio. This property offers access to a terrace, table tennis, free private parking and free WiFi. Great place to stay - lovely accomodation, spacious, clean, everything you need. Wished we had stayed longer. Ideal location. No air con as mentioned in some reviews but this is not a problem at all, there is a breeze flowing and place is cool enough with this. Views are amazing, place feels comfortable and safe (i dont like bugs!) jim very helpful, would highly recommend staying here
