What didn’t I like. Beautiful historic Mansion with a welcoming host on arrival. Our room was spectacular including a beautiful sunroom. There were multiple elegant, restored to historic look of the early 1900 when guests could soak up the ambiance. I’d definitely stay again.

The owner greeted us as we arrived. Was helpful in answering our questions and even provided coal (there was a propane grill too), lighter fluid, and Seasonings for our dinner that night. Beds were comfy. And, although the establishment has no a/c, the night (in mid-July) cooled down quickly and the provided fan was more than sufficient.

The bed was so comfortable that we slept like King and Queen in it. It had an electric fireplace for a great mood. They had an extra blanket, which my girlfriend really liked! It was clean everywhere. There are enough parking spaces available but for Hotel Guests I'd recommend parking at the paved parking otherwise you have to drag your luggage through the second available muddy parking place. :D The window was directed to some field and we were lucky enough to catch a look at some very young little rabbits. 🐇

Bike riding very close by through neighborhoods and a bike trail close by without pedestrians. Plenty of restaurants around. Baked cookies at check-in counter, hot coffee around the corner all day. Games, chess, DVD's and books in living room area. 2 clean hot tubs (indoor and 1 outdoor). Roomy bathrooms though you cannot see them on the website pictures. Well kept destination, attention to every detail.
