The veranda or seperate sitting groups , direct at the beach invite to sit outside and enjoy the view over the bay with mountains and glacier in the backround. A wonderful sunset was the highlight.

Location is excellent for access to downtown Anchorage including 49th State Brewpub and F Station - 2 very popular downtown restaurants. Also excellent for access to train station. Don’t overlook this gem - excellent value!

The cottage was lovely and warm when we arrived. Very tidy and comfortable. A variety of offerings for breakfast and loved the home produced Quail eggs.

We felt very comfortable during our stay and enjoyed it very much. The location near the sea was breathtaking. And we especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast. We can only recommend this lodge.
