It has a beautiful view of a tea plantation right in front, it's next to a great coffee shop, and there are a few walks you can do nearby. It's a bit of a ride to get to Alishan national park but the host always kindly offers to drive you to the nearest bus stop to get around. She was always asking us what we wanted to do and was very helpful. She doesn't speak English but uses a translator app on her phone so communication was always smooth.
