We had the most perfect ending of our trip in Tunisia at this little gem in Hergla. To be honest, we already had quite high expectations of our stay because of the good reviews. Actually we didn't know much about Hergla and we came mostly for L'artisan and the fact that Hergla was a small place close to the sea. Both Hergla and L'artisan surpassed our expectations. Hergla is such a nice little relaxed town. It didn't feel crowded with turists and it still had a sleepy holiday vibe to it. The houses are beautiful and the people are friendly. Our room at L'artisan was huge and beautifully decorated and the owner went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect stay. The owner is an excellent chef (and by excellent i really mean excellent). Everything we had from his kitchen was top notch - he even arranged for us to go on a boat trip with a local friend and his son, and when we spontaneously decided to buy fish from local guys during this trip he prepared them for us for dinner. Go here, you won't regret it.

Beautiful house converted into a boutique hotel. Excellent and varied breakfast. Wifi and a/c worked well. Charming staff. Right in the heart of the medina (I parked outside and it was quite a long roll to the hotel).
Beautiful House, great value for money, clean & well equipped, great location & mohammed the host is friendly helpful & welcoming. We will be renting this house again in the summer.

Exceptionally charming host and beautiful guestroom. The rooftop terrasse with a view over the Médina of Sousse was fantastic and even had a hammock. For breakfast, we enjoyed fresh orange juice and homemade jam. The Dar is kept in an authentic Arab fashion and feels like a place from 1001 Nights. Walking distance to the port, the grande mosquée and the fort of Sousse. Certainly one of the best places we stayed in during our roadtrip through Tunisia.
Great location with a view of the beach, very comfortable apartment. everything we needed was there and the hosts were very accommodating. We really enjoyed staying here and in-fact we extended our stay by 1 more day. I highly recommend this property
Great location, friendly and attentive hosts. The room was well decorated and comfortable.
Toutou, the manager is great and very knowledgeable. He is likely to show you around and can give loads of tips about Sousse and nearby areas. The guesthouse is not in the centre, but located in a very nice neighbourhood worth exploring on its own, it’s not touristic, but safe and interesting. Really recommended, had a great time staying here. Rooms are clean, it’s quiet and peaceful 😊
Our stay in Dar Hkeïm was wonderful! Toutou is a great host, his breakfast is delicious, his tours were really great and the home is really charming. We’ve experienced a local life thanks to Toutou, it wouldn’t be the same without him and his knowledge. One of the perks of staying at his guest house is we got to know great people, so we couldn’t ask for more in our first, but sure not last, visit to Tunis. We recommend it 100%
Fantastic place to spend a while in Sousse. In a quiet location but with easy connections to the centre. Toutou is a fabulous host who cares a lot about his guests and his guesthouse. You feel very well looked after! The guesthouse setup is a nice way to meet other travellers while having some privacy and quiet if you need some.
