The owner was incredibly friendly, making our experience truly special. The design of the rooms was fantastic, creating a cozy and stylish atmosphere. To top it off, the breakfast, pizza and cocktails were simply amazing – a delicious treat that added to the overall fantastic experience. In the common area there were available facilities for cooking (stove), electric kettle, refrigerators for guests use. Nice large area with tables/chairs, big sofa, great big palm tree as promised. Absolutely loved the place; Owner offered even to help with the baggage handling. on the outside - comfortable parking available even for larger vehicles (5m long). Recommending for families with children since around (2-3km) there is Hubertikovo facilities with big playground and small zoo. Thank you!

Some hiking trails (Hornad canyon, Sucha Bela) are walking distance from the village, for the rest you would need a car as public transport is limited outside summer holidays. Due to some mix up with the booking Peter (the host) arranged for us to stay in an apartment in another part of the village. It was an upgrade as we had a whole very comfy apartment with kitchen to ourselves. Communication with Peter was fast and reliable and the proposed solution more than satisfactory! Tip for visitors: since April 2024 local tourist tax (2 euros per person per night) allows free entry to paid sites in Slovensky Raj and includes insurance for mountain rescue costs.
