Self-check in was really useful as we arrived late. The room was very comfortable even for 4 of us and the host was amazing. The traditional Slovak mountain cottage - Penzión Damisport - is located right in the centre of the village of Donovaly, in the central parking area only 50 meters from the ski resort. Wow! So much space, delicious food, amazing staff.. all for very cheap. I can’t speak highly enough and wish I could rate this place 11 stars.

The little Pension St. Maria is located 15 km north Banska Bystrica, in the Velka Fatra and Nizke Tatry/Low Tatras national park and consists of 2 buildings, a garden with a creek in the middle. The rooms are big and warn. Heating system very good. And we appreciated the bathtub! After skiing that was great.

It was nice warm in those 2 rooms. Breakfast was very good.
