The breakfast is served at Vila but the lunch and dinner are served at the authentic Jožica Tavern, located 1.1 km away. Amazing place. We had a 1 bedroom apartment with a balcony for three people and two cats. Very nice warm apartment with a full kitchen, plenty of sleeping space, a walk-in closet, a bath and a shower in the bathroom. Very welcoming friendly staff. We arrived a few hours early before check-in, our apartment was available and they kindly checked us in. We had a great time. I recommend this place to everyone.

Location of the apartment is in a cozy village perfect for hiking and nature lovers. Our apartment was excellent, kitchen very well equiped and the view was superb. Owner is friendly and helpful. Set in the very centre of Kranjska Gora and only 100 metres from the ski slopes, Apartments and Rooms Bernik provides accommodation in 3 separate buildings. Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout the property. It offers bicycle rental and organises ski school, snow-biking and husky sleigh rides. Well equipped with everything we could possibly have needed. Ana was a great hostess, so helpful with all of our needs.

In the heart of Kranjska Gora, the Slovenian pearl, the family guest house Villa Romana is situated right on the ski slope. The property features a spacious summer terrace and a garden with barbecue facilities. The B&B was very cosy and offered a very nice breakfast. Our room was perfect with a beautiful view of the mountains. The owner was very sweet and helpful and recommended some hikes. We would love to come back again one day.

The room is very clean, bright and well equipped. The hotel is well located, close to the city center with the beautiful view of the mountain.

Garni Hotel Miklič is a 3-star hotel located amidst the mountains in the town of Kranjska Gora, at the foothills of Vitranc and right next to a ski slope. Built in 1993, the a family-run property provides free WiFi is throughout. Staff were extremely friendly and provided great advice on places to eat out etc. Also on arrival as they felt we were large family they provided us with an additional third bedroom for same price. I couldn't believe how nice and generous they were.

A fridge and minibar are also available, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. At the guest house, each unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. Our stay at Chalet Sofija totally exceeded our expectations (which are quite high), from the moment we arrived till the moment we had to leave. First of all, the location of the chalet is out of this world, with views that take your breath away from every angle you look, whether from the room, while enjoying a nice dip in the infinity pool or eating breakfast or dinner from the terrace. The photos do not do it justice, it is unbelievable how beautiful this place is. Secondly and not less important, the hospitality of the hosts, Pop and Aleksandra together with the Manageress Alenka was exceptional throughout our stay and they went out of their way to make us feel at home and that is how we felt during the whole of our stay there. To top it up, the food was expertly prepared and was one of the finest dining experiences we have encountered, exceeding the level of many Michelin star restaurants we have dined at. Pop’s innovative cooking presented us with amazing and delicious dishes with a twist, not only for dinner but also for breakfast. He also served us with very good Slovenian wines that went really well with the dishes served. And, if this was not enough, the room was huge, exquisitely and modernly decorated but perfectly fit with the surrounding nature and offered panoramic views over the surrounding mountains and forest, with a huge terrace from where we could enjoy this beautiful nature up close. I don’t think we will ever find an accommodation in Slovenia that comes even close to what we experienced at Chalet Sofija.

Buffet and continental breakfast options with fresh pastries, juice and cheese are available daily at the guest house. Guests can eat in the on-site family-friendly restaurant, which is open for dinner, lunch, brunch and cocktails. What a location! It looked like in the middle of nowhere, but it was the best if you plan to hike. Food is awesome. Definitely the best we ate in Slovenia
