Guesthouse Eleven has a charming garden with a play area for children. In the evening, you can relax by the cosy campfire and mingle with other guests. During the summer season, the on-site restaurant offers a variety of dishes. a converted school building, it was conveniently located on our route to Norway. We found the Dutch owners very hospitable and going out of their way to please guests. Atmosphere as well as food (we had moose stew...) were very good, rooms clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

On a snowy day you can sit on the couch in the living room, listen to the fragrant wood cracking in the fireplace and see the snow covered forest right through the window. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Absolutely would love to return some other time.

Karlstad Train Station is 1 km away. Incredible place, perfectly clean, cosy and very confortable. We couldn’t imagine such a good hostal with a fabulous staff. The nearest airport is Karlstad Airport, 15 km from Timber cottages with jacuzzi and sauna near lake Vänern. Lovely property on the lake, the host was a kind bloke. Hot tub was worth it definitely recommend

This was a beautiful house in a convenient location for both Tockfors and Arjeng, the Norwegian border and many lakes and forests. The house was exceptionally clean and Monique could not have been more welcoming and hospitable. The house is exceptionally well equipped and decorated with everything that you could need to make your stay comfortable. A peaceful place to stay with help and friendship if required. I will definitely look to stay here again if I'm in the area. Highly recommended.
