The guesthouse was clean, bright, very well equipped and comfortable. Plenty of complimentary extras were provided for our convenience. There was also a large and sunny outdoor seating area.

Wonderful atmosphere/stunning location. So much fun to see the boats pass through the lock while having breakfast! Super-sweet staff, that arranged superb special-diet breakfast to my allergic daughter.

Boasting quiet street views, SJÖTORPS HOSTEL offers accommodation with patio, around 20 km from Mariestad Train Station. A good location for our trip. Great for travellers with a car. Sanjay was a lovely host, most welcoming. Room was clean and shower was hot.
