Guesthouse Erlandseröd is situated in Strömstad, 7.7 km from Daftöland, 48 km from Havets Hus, and 37 km from Fredriksten Fortress. The property is located in a tranquil and peaceful cul-de-sac on the edge of Strömstad. It’s surrounded by greenery and has a river running past it. The house itself is very spacious, and proved palatial for our group of 3. Our hosts Marcus and his wife were graceful and friendly, and went out of their way to ensure our stay was a pleasant one. I would highly recommend staying at this property (particularly if prospective guests have their own set of wheels, as the location might prove hard to reach by picking transport!). One point worth mentioning is that the owners have two large dogs (extremely well behaved!), which our group became very fond of and attached to, but it is appreciable that this might prove a problem for some.

Set in Lycke in the Västra Götaland region, Tofte Guesthouse nära hav, bad och Marstrand has a patio. This is a holiday home close to the owner's house. The facilities are OK, and the location is great: very close to Marstrand (which we did not know of before, but is great to visit). It is quiet and comfortable.

I loved that the apartment style rooms had a kitchenette. I also really thought the hospitality was top tier.! Thanks Emanuel and Seth!

Featuring garden views, Tossene Vandrahem features accommodation with a garden, barbecue facilities and a shared lounge, around 26 km from Havets Hus. Don't be put off by the picture of the exterior, this was a very interesting and comfortable stay. Very easy to find, great parking and warm welcome. It is in the countryside but only a short distance from Smogen and the seaside resorts around. It has amazing kitchen facilities both in the room and in the long corridore outside. We stayed only one night but it would be great for a longer stay or with a family. The room was spacious and well equipped and the night was SILENT. So lovely.

This family-owned guesthouse is located in Smögen on the Swedish West Coast. It features free WiFi, as well as fresh rooms with a flat-screen TV. The centre of Kungshamn is 3.8 km away. Everything about this room is cute - it's super clean, located 10m from the water, has a nice balcony - with a view to the colourful rooftops of the area. This little town is unique - situated on a cliff or cliffs (?). The houses are built so it looks like they emerged naturally from the rocks. One needs to go there and see it for themselves!

Just 1 km from the sandy Långekärr Beach, this family-owned B&B is 18 km from Fjällbacka. It offers free Wi-Fi, bright and airy rooms, along with 2 communal TV lounges. What a great and beautiful house and such friendly new owners . New owners since February 923 really spiced it up. Maybe we can come back on our road back home. The shared bathroom is no issue as there are several bathrooms to use .

Villa Bro is set in a building from 1928, only 7 km from Nordens Ark Zoo and 250 metres from Bro Church. It offers free WiFi and some rooms have luxurious Carpe Diem beds. Klas was a superb host for our family of 5. Quiet and clean accommodations. Wonderful breakfast in the morning.
