The room is clean and you can chill outside in the kitchen, in chairs with tables or in hamac. The owner is very lovely. We ordered food (free delivery) on the advice of the owner and it’s was really good, the portions were big. There is a big lovely dog outside that loves being stroked and fed. The property is at a 15min walk from the church and the monastery.

Situated in Cîrţişoara, 44 km from Făgăraș Fortress, Casa Popa’s features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. Initially we thought it was just a place to spend the night, but it turned out to be more. We were lucky enough to meet the owner and his hospitality, a very attentive and kind person. late dinner is not a problem, changing a room to another with a view of the river is not a problem, etc. The sound of the river takes you into a trance, we had a very good rest and left in the morning full of energy. We will be happy to choose this place next time.
