Set in the western part of Madeira, this brand new accommodation was built on the grounds of an old sugar cane factory. Great staff and very good restaurant. Nice pool and all rooms have beautiful view of the ocean. A/C in the room.

A beautiful place with a very nice garden and freezing pool :) easy to relax sitting in the chair or lying in the hammock, since it is further from the main road, it is also quiet Lovely staff, we talked mostly with Rubina (?) always with a smile, although she was probably quite busy Tasty breakfast Very nice room with amazing view of the surrounding mountains (1st floor), the whole house is very nice, bright and maintained Welcome drink (Madeira wine) and a tasty cake (forgot to ask for the name, it was not pastel nata) Would definitely come back someday!

Featuring lake views, Belle Vue offers accommodation with balcony, around 7.4 km from Santana's traditional houses. We liked this place very much. It is absolutely quiet. No barking dogs, and no road traffic! (This is VERY rare on Madeira, especially in Funchal!!). Nice view of the mountains and the ocean. There is a large kitchen, which is very well equipped. Our host is extremely helpful and friendly. Even though we did not speak Portuguese, we managed to communicate with google translate easily. We warmly recommend this place to people who like QUIET places and like to sleep at night and discover the beautiful northern part of Madeira. Bolo do Caco Grill is close by (by car) and highly recommended to eat there and enjoy the stunning view!

Sunset House in Arco da Calheta provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a terrace and barbecue facilities. Very clean and spacious room and house, with amazing views. Comfortable bed, good shower pressure and temperature. A generous kitchen that would be excellent for long stays.

Featuring pool views, bluegreen offers accommodation with balcony, around 1.1 km from Caminho Faja do Mar Beach. With sea views, this accommodation provides a terrace and a swimming pool. Eddy, the host, made our stay perfect. He arranged a diner outside specially for us and made the most amazing Italian coffee when we woke up. He even brought us up the hill so we could catch the bus to Funchal. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Located within 2.7 km of Calheta Beach and 25 km of Girao Cape, Amoreira House offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Calheta. This was the most pleasant stay we had in almost a month on Madeira! The host Luis and his family are so welcoming, kind and helpful. The view from the unit is absolutely beautiful and it is fully equipped with everything you could need. The apartment was so clean and very well maintained. We were treated like family; it was the most personable stay I have ever had anywhere in the world. The town of Calheta is so quaint but yet has everything you could need. It is a perfect place to stay on the island to have a relaxing time yet still be close enough to everything you want to do.

Absolutely amazing stay! Everything about this place is special: outstanding hosts and reception, paradise view with palms and ocean, chill and sunny location. We would definitely want to stay again and longer.

Set in Câmara de Lobos, 700 metres from Vigário Beach, Casa da Cal - by Casas na Ilha offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Great location short walk to town centre . Spacious room , comfortable bed , AC , great shower . Very clean ! Tastefully decorated throughout . Amazing pool area , feels like you are in a jungle with fruits hanging from trees . Highly recommend !

In the Santa Maria district of Funchal, close to Almirante Reis Beach, Agnelo Comfort - Accommodation H V has free WiFi and a washing machine. This guest house features accommodation with a balcony. We had an amazing stay at this comfortable apartment! Central location to the market across the street and grocery stores and bus and the waterfront promenade. It felt like we were locals going to the grocery store and taking the bus, not like tourists! The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need! We loved it! Jose was a wonderful host and he was in touch with us from the moment we landed at the airport and any time we had a question he was quick to answer all of our questions! We didn't have a problem with noise from the market early morning but we always travel with a white noise machine so we didn't hear anything. We found the bed super comfortable. We were there for almost 2 weeks and cannot wait to go back to Madeira and hope that Jose's apartment is available when we do!! Thank you so much Jose!!
